Simge Andi

is a young Turk who is in love with politics. She has an MA in European Studies (King's College London), some internship experience at the Turkish Mission to the UN and Turkish Delegation to NATO, and also worked in the (2011) election campaign of a political party in Hatay. Currently, she i working for the Municipality of Hatay, trying to contribute to the development of the city through EU-funded projects (until she finds something more interesting). She is deeply interested in Turkish foreign policy (how surprising!), NATO, EU and the Middle East. Although she has a special bond with security and defence, she doesn't limit her research area to them. She writes about what interests her and that changes everyday considering the pace of developments in international relations.
